Baek Kyung-hoon says AI DC alliance is starting point for Korea to become global intelligence exporter

Deputy Prime Minister and Science and ICT Minister Baek Kyung-hoon (배경훈) said South Korea will foster AI data centres as “token factories” that produce intelligence and help the country become a global intelligence exporter. In remarks at the launch of the AI DC Alliance, he called it a national response to the global AI revolution. He cited semiconductors and data-centre infrastructure as key strengths and pledged government support, including on power and water issues.
