KT to terminate phone lines unused for over 3 years, citing voice phishing prevention
KT will carry out administrative termination of mobile telecommunications lines that have been suspended and left unused for a long period, it said. The measure applies to phone or smart-device lines whose suspension was requested before March 2023 and that have remained suspended since. KT said the step is intended to prevent lines from being used by others or misused for voice phishing. Terminations are scheduled for March 30 to 31.
