SambaNova seeks over $350 million funding with Intel backing
AI chip startup SambaNova is in talks to raise more than $350 million, with a report saying Intel plans to invest $150 million. Reuters reported the round is led by Vista Equity Partners and Qavam Capital is also expected to participate. The company’s SN40L chip is based on TSMC’s 5-nanometre process. SambaNova offers the SambaStack system and a managed service launched in July.
