Mastercard launches MetaMask crypto card in U.S., including New York
Crypto wallet MetaMask has launched a cryptocurrency payment card in the United States in partnership with Mastercard, Cointelegraph reported on Feb. 26. The card is available in 49 states including New York, following pilot programs in 2024 and 2025. The rollout expands earlier availability in markets including Canada, the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. The card is issued by Cross River Bank and supports Apple Pay and Google Pay.
