AI agents spread, putting corporate security management to test

Artificial intelligence is moving beyond answering questions and making recommendations to performing tasks in the workplace. AI agents can handle routine work such as drafting emails, updating schedules and scheduling social media posts, often by running in a separate virtual private server environment. This can lower barriers to adoption, but it also increases security concerns when agents access sensitive corporate data. Companies and users need to understand risks and prepare safeguards while deciding what services and data access to allow.
