Hana Securities partners with Upbit Global on digital asset business
Hana Securities will work with Upbit Global to seek new business opportunities in digital asset management, product development and infrastructure building, using Singapore as a base. The companies signed a memorandum of understanding in Seoul to cooperate in digital assets and finance. They plan to combine Hana Securities\' finance and asset management capabilities with Upbit Global\'s digital asset technology and overseas network and expand cooperation in stages in Singapore.

Dunamu, Bithumb formalise IPO plans, differ on timing and approach
Dunamu, operator of Upbit, and rival Bithumb held annual shareholder meetings on Monday and formalised plans to pursue initial public offerings. Dunamu said it would push ahead with an IPO as soon as its merger with Naver Financial is completed, while Bithumb said it would strengthen internal controls through 2027 before seeking a listing. Bithumb shareholders also raised issues including a recent bitcoin mispayment and a Financial Intelligence Unit fine.

Dunamu to pursue IPO immediately after Naver Financial merger completion
Dunamu, the operator of digital asset exchange Upbit, said it will step up plans for an initial public offering in line with completion of a comprehensive share-swap process with Naver Financial. It said it has sufficient funds to respond to possible large-scale exercises of appraisal rights during the merger. Dunamu said it is undergoing regulatory approval procedures and has not decided on a listing venue.
