Oracle adds 10 defense tech firms to Oracle Defense Ecosystem
Oracle on Tuesday announced the third cohort of its Oracle Defense Ecosystem, a project that works with defense technology companies using the company’s cloud and AI infrastructure. The new cohort adds 10 technology companies that provide defense technology to the United States and allied countries. Oracle listed companies developing systems ranging from power and energy for frontline missions to AI platforms, underwater robotics, counter-drone and anti-jamming technologies, interoperability software and privacy-focused mobile communications.

Krafton and Kia bring PUBG Mobile battleground to Seoul\'s Seongsu
Krafton\'s PUBG Mobile and Kia have opened an offline experience space in Seoul\'s Seongsu area combining the game\'s play elements with Kia\'s electric vehicles. The \'PUBGM x Kia Zone 8\' pop-up runs from May 21 to 24 at two venues, PUBG Seongsu and Kia Unplugged Ground. Visitors move between the sites to complete missions, with attractions including a Blue Zone air dome, an obstacle-course challenge, EV displays, RC car racing and a laser battle zone.

Boston Dynamics Atlas moves 23 kg mini fridge, bringing factory deployment closer
Boston Dynamics released a new demonstration video of its humanoid robot Atlas, showing it lifting and moving a 23 kg mini fridge and then stepping back so a researcher could take a canned drink. The video also includes the learning process behind the motion. The company is developing Atlas for manufacturing sites rather than homes, focusing on low cost, simplicity and reliability. Researchers said Atlas lifted 45 kg in lab tests.
