Uniswap governance considers full v3 pool fee rollout and expansion to eight chains
Uniswap governance is considering expanding protocol fees, The Block reported on Feb. 19. The proposal would apply fees to all Ethereum mainnet v3 pools and extend to eight chains including Arbitrum, Base, Celo, OP Mainnet, Soneium, X Layer, World Chain and Zora. A Snapshot vote runs through Feb. 23. It is the first proposal since the Unification governance overhaul, which shortened procedures for fee-related changes.

Uniswap introduces continuous settlement auctions, focus on changes to token launches
Uniswap Labs has rolled out a continuous settlement auctions (CCAs) protocol on its main web app to strengthen liquidity, The Block reported. CCAs are an on-chain auction system aimed at aiding price discovery for new and low-liquidity tokens. Uniswap Labs said the process runs fully on-chain to ensure transparent pricing, bidding and settlement. It added that auctions can align token rollouts with demand and add liquidity to Uniswap v4 pools.
