Tern unveils new HSD compact cargo e-bike
E-bike brand Tern has unveiled a new compact cargo electric bike, the HSD, aimed at replacing short car trips in cities. The model features a redesigned frame with a longer wheelbase and lower centre of gravity, and supports a 190-kg gross vehicle weight and up to 80 kg on the rear rack. It uses Bosch’s fifth-generation electric system and offers accessory options. The lineup has four models, starting at $4,999.

Lectric Ebikes unveiled its new commuter e-bike model, the XPress2, aiming at the urban market. The company priced it at $1,399 and said it improves overall performance and finish while keeping the pricing of its lower-cost models. The XPress2 comes in Commuter and Cruiser versions.
