Bigwave Robotics launches Hyper Foundry integrated physical AI development platform
Bigwave Robotics, an industrial physical AI company, said on Monday it has launched Hyper Foundry, an integrated development platform that connects robot data collection, AI model training and validation, and deployment to real robots. The company said the platform bundles robot hardware, GPU servers and data and training environments, reducing the need to connect separate technologies. It targets universities and research institutes as well as manufacturing and logistics field trials.

TwelveLabs launches Pegasus 1.6 video understanding model, expands beyond media to physical AI
Multimodal video understanding AI company TwelveLabs said on Tuesday it has launched Pegasus 1.6, a vision-language model designed to understand egocentric data, or first-person video. The company said the model supports automating tasks needed to turn such footage into robot training data by segmenting scenes and analyzing actions and interactions. It supports five functions including action segmentation and labeling, dense caption labeling, quality scoring, search and curation, and consent and compliance flagging.

Twelvelabs converts UNICEF Korea video and photo archive into AI digital archive
Video-understanding AI company Twelvelabs said on Tuesday it converted the UNICEF Korea Committee’s 8 terabytes of unstructured video and photo data into an AI-based digital archive. The committee had managed scattered files across personal PCs and NAS storage, making searches labor-intensive and limiting use of some materials. Twelvelabs applied its video-native and multimodal AI to enable natural-language search that returns relevant clips and timestamps, and said search time fell about 95 percent.
