Truebit DeFi token on Ethereum plunges 99.9% after hack
Ethereum-based verification and computation protocol Truebit has been hit by a security incident, with assets worth 8,535 ether, or about $26.6 million, stolen. Truebit said on X it was aware of a security incident caused by a malicious actor and was working with law enforcement. Lookonchain estimated the stolen amount at about 8,535 ether. TRU slid 99.9% to $0.00007721 from $0.16.
