Toss Insight says banks need scenario-based responses rather than single outlook
Toss Insight said pressure on banks\' profitability and soundness could diverge depending on interest rates, the economy and stock prices, and urged responses based on multiple scenarios rather than a single outlook. Its report analysed eight variables from the second half of 2026 to 2027 and set three scenarios. It also assessed tail risks. It said no scenario was uniformly positive or negative and flagged possible slower term-deposit inflows during a stock-market boom.

Toss Insight publishes on-chain finance digital wallet report
Toss Insight, the financial management research unit of Viva Republica, operator of Toss, analysed the role of digital wallets as on-chain finance spreads. It published a business insight report titled \"Digital Wallet: The Starting Point of On-Chain Finance\" on June 18. The report defines wallets as new financial infrastructure managing rights, responsibilities and transaction authority, and outlines design axes, basic types and an operating model. It also reviews global company cases and links competitiveness to stable connections across different responsibility structures.

Stablecoin payment models take shape from FX to remittances
Moves by South Korean companies to integrate stablecoins into payment services are accelerating as industry plans become more concrete. Hecto Financial is working with Singapore-based stablecoin payments firm TripleA to build a global payment and settlement service, and has joined Circle’s Circle Payments Network. Blockchain-based payment and settlement infrastructure company SuhoIO unveiled a next-generation foreign exchange settlement model using stablecoins.
