MyData policy should move away from obligation-driven design
Viva Republica, the operator of Toss, said on Tuesday that its financial management think tank, Toss Insight, published a second report on MyData. The report said high system 구축 costs and unclear revenue models are increasing burdens on operators, while expanded data transfer obligations lack sufficient compensation or sustainability structures. It urged a gradual shift from an obligation-driven design to voluntary participation, including rewards tied to data use outcomes and improved API cost structures.
