Toss Insight says tokenised asset market at $39.1 billion, U.S. Treasuries and credit products make up 61%
Toss Insight said the blockchain-based tokenised asset market has grown to about $39.1 billion, with yield-bearing products such as U.S. Treasuries, money market funds and corporate loans accounting for about 61%. It said DeFi and tokenised assets are increasingly combining with traditional financial services, making financial firms’ roles in product distribution and risk management more important. The report also flagged limits on investor eligibility and risks including smart contract errors and operational issues at external services.

Delinquency rate 2.6 times higher after three months of funding strain; MyData can spot risk early
Aggregating personal financial information scattered across multiple financial firms can help identify changes in repayment capacity and funding strain that are hard to detect using only conventional credit data, an analysis showed. Users whose high funding strain persisted for three months later recorded a new delinquency rate about 2.6 times higher than those whose strain was high for only a month. Toss Insight said MyData could also help assess repayment ability for users with limited credit histories.

AI agents that compare deposits, loans, investments and insurance products and execute transactions on behalf of consumers are spreading, and this could change how financial firms compete, a report said. It said competition may shift from keeping customers in a firm\'s app to deciding who organises customers\' product choices. The report also warned that dominant general-purpose AI agents could become new gatekeepers and called for rules to build trust.
