OpenAI presents AI-based cyber defence strategy to about 60 CISO executives in South Korea
OpenAI said on Thursday it hosted a \"Cyber CXO Roundtable\" in Seoul, inviting about 60 executives including chief information security officers from South Korean companies. OpenAI Korea head Kim Kyung-hoon (김경훈) and other staff introduced AI-based strategies for responding to cyber threats. OpenAI said improvements in AI-driven vulnerability detection and attack-path analysis are cutting response times and underscored proactive defence. It also introduced its Daybreak integrated cyber defence solution and shared experience building a \"Defense Factory\" operating model.

KB Kookmin Bank discusses digital asset future with Kakao, says banking role is trust
KB Kookmin Bank said it discussed the development direction of the digital asset market with Kakao Group and presented the roles banks can play in the digital asset ecosystem, including reserve asset management and anti-money laundering. The bank said it co-hosted the Next Finance Korea 2026 conference at the Westin Seoul Parnas. About 150 industry participants attended. Executives said finance’s core remains trust and banks can serve as a “Trust Layer.”
