Tada launches capital area taxi cooperative
Mobility platform Tada has launched a franchised taxi cooperative, the The Premium Taxi Cooperative, and began operations this month, it said on Jan. 20. The cooperative combines ride-hailing demand using a capital-area integrated operations regulatory sandbox with a member-led autonomous operating model. The platform provides demand and dispatch across the capital region, while members manage earnings from self-directed driving. Ten vehicles began initial operations, with plans to expand.
