Binance flags seven altcoins with monitoring tag; prices slump on delisting fears
Global cryptocurrency exchange Binance has newly assigned a monitoring tag to seven tokens, prompting broad declines in their prices. The exchange said the tagged assets show notably higher volatility and risk than other assets and may be delisted if they fail to meet listing standards. Syscoin fell the most at 11.53 percent. Binance also tightened trading requirements for tagged tokens and said it would remove a seed tag from Tether Gold.

Flow Traders enters tokenised asset market via 24-hour OTC platform
Crypto market-making firm Flow Traders is entering the tokenised asset market through a 24-hour over-the-counter trading platform, The Block reported on March 19. The platform supports trading in tokenised money market funds, stocks and commodities, and provides two-way liquidity for assets including Franklin Templeton\'s onchain money market fund BENJI and Tether Gold. It is limited to pre-vetted institutional investors that complete onboarding and KYC procedures.

Canada\'s Elemental Royalty to pay dividends in Tether\'s tokenised gold instead of cash
Canada\'s Elemental Royalty Corp will offer blockchain-based gold dividends and pay shareholders in Tether Gold (XAUT) instead of cash, CoinDesk reported on Feb. 17. The change follows Tether\'s purchase of a one-third stake in Elemental last year, which deepened cooperation between the two. XAUT is the largest gold-backed token in the market, leading in both supply and trading volume. The tokenised gold market has surpassed $5 billion.
