Science ministry overhauls spectrum rules to ease inconvenience in daily life and industry
South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT said on Feb. 10 it will improve spectrum regulations to ease inconvenience in daily life and resolve difficulties at industrial sites. Changes include raising indoor Wi-Fi power in part of the 6 GHz band, establishing rules for new Bluetooth radio formats for indoor location tracking, easing rules to help visually impaired people, and expanding TV white space use at underground and tunnel worksites. The ministry completed revisions to two notices after an administrative review.
