DTCC begins live securities tokenisation trading with 40 firms including JPMorgan
U.S. securities settlement group DTCC has started operating a securities tokenisation service in live markets, covering assets including Microsoft shares and U.S. Treasuries. DTCC plans a July pilot limited to about 1,000 instruments before expanding to full availability around October. The service, developed by its depository DTC, lets participants use tokenised assets for collateral transfers, repo transactions and stock trades, with settlement on either Hyperledger Besu or the Canton Network.

Invesco files to launch onchain money market fund for stablecoin reserves
Invesco has submitted an amended filing to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to launch the Invesco Stablecoin Reserve Onchain Fund, a money market fund designed for stablecoin reserve assets. The product is set to be added to Invesco’s existing short-term investment trust portfolio. It will invest mainly in high-quality short-term assets such as U.S. Treasuries, repurchase agreements and cash equivalents, and aims to maintain a $1 net asset value per share.

Fidelity launches money market fund aimed at stablecoin issuers
Fidelity Investments has launched a new government money market fund aimed at institutional investors, particularly stablecoin issuers. The Fidelity Reserves Digital Fund (FYMXX) launched on June 15, a report said. It invests only in reserve assets permitted under the U.S. stablecoin regulatory law known as the GENIUS Act, including U.S. Treasuries, cash and overnight repurchase agreements. The minimum initial investment is $1 million and the management fee is 0.25 percent.
