Tesla starts up first dedicated Semi truck mass production plant in Nevada

Tesla has opened its first dedicated plant to mass-produce its Semi heavy-duty electric truck in Sparks, Nevada, setting annual capacity at up to 50,000 units. The Semi was first built on the facility’s high-speed line in April and is now in official operation. The company has supplied limited volumes since 2022. NC AI wins Hanwha Ocean contract for autonomous welding project for commercial and special-purpose ships

NC AI has won a Hanwha Ocean project to develop a vision-recognition welding model and a collaborative-robot autonomous welding model, it said on Wednesday. The project combines AI vision recognition with precision robot control for welding, a core shipbuilding process. The goal is a physical AI solution that identifies and judges weld areas and performs optimal welding in real time. The results are set to be applied to Hanwha Ocean’s commercial and special-purpose shipbuilding.
