Sony adds investment in Startale on Sonium blockchain first anniversary
Sony will invest an additional $13 million in partner Startale to mark the first anniversary of the Sonium blockchain mainnet launch, Cointelegraph reported on Jan. 29. The investment will be made through the Sony Innovation Fund, Cointelegraph said. Sonium processed about 524 million transactions since its January 2025 mainnet launch, public block explorer data showed. Startale also launched a stablecoin, StartaleUSD (USDSC), on Sonium.
