IPTV operators to set up 40 billion won \'IPTV Strategic Fund\' to step up K-content investment
The Korea IPTV Broadcasting Association said on Wednesday it will form a 40 billion won \"IPTV Strategic Fund\" with IPTV operators KT, SK Broadband and LG Uplus and begin investing in video content from February 2026. The fund is part of a cooperation framework for the \"K-Content and Media Strategic Fund\" promoted by the Korea Communications Commission and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Solare Partners was selected as the general partner.
