India\'s vibe-coding startup Emergent raises $70 million from SoftBank and others

Indian startup Emergent raised $70 million in a Series B investment round led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2 and Khosla Ventures, TechCrunch reported on Jan. 20 local time. The funding values the company at about $300 million. Emergent, founded seven months ago, has $50 million in annual recurring revenue. Founder Mukund Jha said demand is surging across key markets and its mobile app-building service is growing quickly.
