LG Uplus improves app features with customer suggestions, accelerates participatory innovation
LG Uplus is expanding participatory innovation by reflecting customer-proposed ideas in service improvements. The company said ideas submitted through its customer participation service Simple Lab topped 10,000 in cumulative terms in seven months, with 1 in 10 applied to actual service upgrades. It incorporated feedback into functions and user experience improvements in its integrated app U+one, including parental management of children’s mobile bills and a favourites feature.

LG Uplus to simplify pricing with integrated 5G-LTE plans
LG Uplus will launch integrated mobile plans that remove the distinction between 5G and LTE, applying a data safety option (QoS) so users can keep using data at set speeds after their allowance runs out. The company said it will pursue its “Simply 2.0” strategy to simplify pricing structures and subscription processes. The plan includes cutting 53 mobile plans to 18, automatically applying age-based benefits, introducing an all-in-one mobile-internet bundle and expanding 5G roaming coverage.

LG Uplus tops NCSI in mobile service and IPTV categories
LG Uplus ranked No. 1 in South Korea\'s 2026 National Customer Satisfaction Index survey, taking the top spot in mobile service for the first time and finishing first in IPTV for a fifth consecutive year. The company said it improved convenience and stability through quality innovation and built a companywide system to address customer pain points. It has collected and analysed service data using AI and upgraded processes and systems.
