Shibarium halt rumours grow after project exit and explorer errors
A long-time community participant, Mazrael, rejected claims that Shiba Inu layer-2 network Shibarium has effectively stopped working, after the Shibarium-based project K9 Finance announced it was shutting down. He said validators and archive infrastructure remain active and that thousands of transactions continue daily. Separately, Shibarium’s block explorer ShibariumScan is experiencing initialization problems, with indexing about 49 percent complete, which could affect activity tracking.

Shiba Inu daily volume spike fades back within a day
Daily transactions on Shibarium, the layer-2 network for Shiba Inu, surged 507 percent in a day before quickly dropping back to prior levels. Data showed counts rose from 738 on Aug. 8 to 4,480 on Aug. 9, then fell to 831 on Aug. 10. A Shiba Eternity adviser said the team added developer documents covering gasless transactions and other tools. Glassnode said the market remained in a transitional recovery phase.

Shibarium DEX volume surges 1,517 percent in a day, hinting at network activity rebound
Daily decentralised exchange trading volume on Shibarium, the layer-2 network for Shiba Inu, rose more than 1,500 percent in a day, according to Decrypt. Volume increased to $275 on July 10 from $17 a day earlier, with all trades handled by ShibaSwap. Shibarium’s total value locked rose to $24,014, up 11.71 percent from June 27. Daily transactions also climbed to 5,170 on July 10 from 1,120 the previous day.
