Tesla launches six-seat Model Y L in South Korea from 64.99 million won
Tesla Korea will introduce the long-wheelbase, three-row, six-seat electric SUV Model Y L to the domestic market from April 3. The launch comes as sales of the Model S and Model X have been halted, in a strategic lineup reshuffle positioning the Model Y L as a new main model. The Model Y L is longer and has an extended wheelbase, with a redesigned six-seat interior. Prices start at 64.99 million won.

Xiaomi overhauls fast-growing EV sales team, hires former Tesla China sales executive
Xiaomi has hired Kong Yanshuang, who previously led Tesla’s sales organisation in China, to oversee its automobile sales operations. Media reports said Xiaomi has set a 2026 EV sales target of 550,000 units and that Kong joined in early March to handle the transition. The company has also recruited other former Tesla staff, and has reported rising deliveries and strong demand for refreshed SU7 models.

Tesla Model 3 seen entering 30 million won range in South Korea; FSD shifts to monthly subscription only
Tesla’s Model 3 Standard RWD with an NCM battery could enter the 30 million won price range in South Korea on higher 2026 subsidies, compared with LFP versions. Tesla is also releasing a seven-seat 2026 Model Y, with the option limited to a premium AWD Long Range variant. Elon Musk said Tesla will stop selling FSD as a one-off purchase, offering it only as a $99-a-month subscription after the 14th.
