BitMEX prepares to exit after 11 years, delists 65 products and trading pairs in July alone

BitMEX delisted 65 derivatives contracts and trading pairs in July as it prepares to end exchange services, far exceeding the 19 delistings recorded from January to June. It cited weak trading and the planned closure. The company said it will halt exchange services on Sept. 23, 2026, without giving a detailed reason, calling the decision the result of a strategic review. Market participants see the delistings as a sign of shrinking liquidity.
