MegazoneCloud partners with Taejae University on AI-based education cooperation
MegazoneCloud said on Wednesday it will cooperate with Taejae University to innovate future digital education and foster global talent in the AI era. The two sides plan to build AI and cloud-based next-generation digital education infrastructure and create a learner-centred personalised AI learning ecosystem. They will run practical AI and cloud projects and education programs for students, link overseas education and industry through a global network, and pursue joint research and future education models based on the latest AI technology.

Nvidia to set up AI joint research institute at KAIST
KAIST and Nvidia will build a $300 million joint research framework to develop agentic AI technology tailored to the Korean language and domestic industrial environments. KAIST said it will establish the Nvidia-KAIST AI Joint Research Institute at the Seoul campus of its Kim Jaechul Graduate School of AI to pursue joint research on key next-generation AI technologies. The partners will combine Nvidia’s full-stack AI technology, open models and cloud computing infrastructure with KAIST researchers.

SKT builds solar infrastructure at Korea University, eyes 350 million won a year in power bill savings
SK Telecom has built solar energy infrastructure at Korea University’s Seoul campus to directly use power generated on campus for school operations. The project installs about 1.8 MW of solar facilities on rooftops of 20 buildings, including the Business School main building and the Lyceum. Korea University expects the project to cut about 1,069 tonnes of CO2 a year and save an estimated 350 million won annually in electricity bills.
