Team Naver showcases AI full-stack technology at ICML 2026
Team Naver said on Sunday it took part in the International Conference on Machine Learning (ICML) 2026, presenting research results ranging from advanced AI models to physical AI. The event was held at Seoul\'s COEX from July 6 to 11. It showcased work across AI safety, model and agent operations, and 3D spatial understanding. Highlights included red-teaming using Stable-GFlowNet, a model-merging method called SyMerge, and a Seoul World Model developed jointly with partners.

Jensen Huang calls Naver a global AI developer, expands AI cloud and robotics cooperation
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang (젠슨 황) named Naver a key partner for expanding AI cloud in South Korea and globally, broadening cooperation beyond GPU supply to open AI model development, large-scale AI cloud and robotics. He outlined three areas: open frontier models through the Nemotron consortium, building a 200-megawatt AI factory with plans to expand to gigawatt scale, and advancing robotics. Naver chair Lee Hae-jin (이해진) said Naver is prepared to meet rising GPU and AI demand.

Naver to build GW-scale AI factory with Nvidia, target global infrastructure market
Naver said on Sunday it has agreed with Nvidia on a joint project to build a gigawatt-scale global AI factory. It described the deal as an integrated partnership spanning the full value chain, including demand development and capital cooperation, with Naver sharing responsibility for results and risks. Naver plans to expand overseas infrastructure from 55MW in the first half of 2027 to 200MW in 2028, while deepening technical cooperation.
