LG Uplus to run 24-hour response system to block voice phishing during Chuseok holiday

LG Uplus will activate a 24-hour special response system ahead of the Chuseok holiday, centered on its AI-based customer damage prevention analysis system, Secure.AI+. The company will operate a dedicated monitoring system at its Seoul Magok office through the end of this month, strengthening efforts to track and block malicious app control servers. It will warn customers via KakaoTalk alerts and share related information with police through a hotline.

UK AI infrastructure shaken as data centre project faces resident backlash

Plans to build one of the world’s largest data centres near a small historic village in Scotland have met strong local opposition, widening tensions over Britain’s push to expand AI infrastructure. Enterprise AI adoption hard without security, F5 Korea executive says

An F5 Korea executive said many companies run AI proof-of-concept projects but few move to production because they are not prepared to strengthen and maintain security. He said AI security differs from traditional security because prompts can pose risks and sensitive data can leak even without vulnerabilities. F5 is expanding AI security offerings and argues firms need controls at the front door, orchestration and inference stages, along with an integrated platform approach.
