Park In-gyu discusses R&D regulatory innovation measures
Park In-gyu, head of the science and technology innovation division at the Ministry of Science and ICT, held a meeting on Feb. 19 with officials from academia, the research community, industry and specialist research management institutions to discuss R&D regulatory reform. Participants discussed shifting to a management system that encourages researchers to conduct research diligently. Park also heard field views on managing researchers’ level of focus and checked progress on linking research support and institutional systems.
