It is shifting to a format that tours key cities with local hiring events and has introduced a programme in which senior executives meet students directly. The company held a tech forum in Los Angeles, inviting about 50 doctoral candidates, and plans additional sessions starting in San Jose and continuing to cities including Chicago, Boston and Atlanta.

LG Display gaming OLED wins SID Display of the Year award
LG Display’s gaming OLED panel won the top prize at an international display awards programme. The company said its 27-inch 540/720Hz (DFR) OLED gaming monitor panel was selected as the Society for Information Display’s Display of the Year on April 29. SID said the award recognises the most innovative product among those released the previous year. The panel supports selectable high-refresh-rate and high-resolution modes.
