Runware aims to produce 30 MW a day by 2028 with factory-built AI data centres
Moves to mass-produce AI data centres in factories and deploy them like vehicles are gaining momentum, as companies seek to cut construction time and cost. AI infrastructure firm Runware targets producing 30 MW of data-centre capacity a day by 2028 and says it can activate equipment within 48 hours on sites with power and telecoms in place. The company is assembling Sonic Pod modules in Romania and plans a second plant in early 2027, while rivals such as Nvidia and Crusoe expand modular offerings.
