Kross signs validator MOU with CertiK to join Mainnet 2.0 verification
Kross Protocol said on May 20 it signed a memorandum of understanding with blockchain security firm CertiK to cooperate on validator operations, adding CertiK as a new validator. Under the agreement, CertiK will operate an independent validator node, verifying transactions and participating in block production. Kross is set to upgrade to Mainnet 2.0 on June 1. Nexth has previously signed a broad cooperation MOU with CertiK.

CertiK officially signals intent to pursue IPO
CertiK, a blockchain smart contract security auditing firm, is pursuing an initial public offering, co-founder Ronghui Gu said. He said there is no specific plan yet but the IPO is a clear objective. The interview took place during the World Economic Forum in Davos. Founded in New York in 2018, CertiK has more than 5,000 clients, The Block reported.

CertiK and YZi Labs set up $1 million security audit grant fund
Web3 security company CertiK said on Tuesday it is partnering with YZi Labs, formerly Binance Labs, to support startups in web3, AI and biotech. The companies plan to jointly strengthen the security architecture of projects taking part in YZi Labs’ global incubation program, EASY Residency, to support their growth. CertiK will create a dedicated $1 million security audit grant fund to back participating projects and provide security services.
