Dunamu to hold UIS 2026 bringing together global digital asset stakeholders
Dunamu, which operates digital asset exchange Upbit, will hold the Upbit Institutional Summit (UIS) on Sept. 29 at the Grand Walkerhill Seoul in Seoul’s Gwangjin district. The event brings together global policymakers, institutional investors, financial firms and digital asset and technology companies to discuss digital asset institutionalisation and broader institutional participation. The agenda includes regulation, tokenisation, on-chain finance, Asian regulatory environments, and AI and blockchain convergence.

Robinhood-backed DEX Arkus expands into tokenised assets and perpetual futures
Robinhood Crypto-backed decentralised exchange Arkus has launched tokenised stocks and perpetual futures on Robinhood Chain, expanding beyond its spot market. The service, built by the dYdX development team, now lets users trade more than 95 stock tokens, perpetual markets, and cryptocurrencies via self-custody trading accounts. Collateral and settlement primarily use USDG, a stablecoin issued by Paxos. Stock tokens are unavailable in some restricted regions including the United States, Canada and Britain.

Alchemy introduces automated payment system targeting AI agents
Blockchain infrastructure firm Alchemy has introduced a system that allows AI agents to purchase blockchain data and automatically pay in USDC, Cointelegraph reported on Thursday. Alchemy AI agents can use on-chain wallets to access Alchemy’s blockchain data services for network queries, NFT ownership checks, multichain wallet balance lookups and real-time token price data. The system uses Coinbase’s x402 payment standard to turn an HTTP 402 response into an automated payment trigger.
