Mirae Asset Securities\' RIA client balance tops 260 billion won
Mirae Asset Securities said on April 27 that the cumulative balance of its domestic market return accounts (RIA) exceeded 250 billion won a month after the scheme was introduced. The balance started at 14.7 billion won on the first day of the system on March 23, reached 100 billion won in the second week and surpassed 200 billion won before a month had passed. It topped 260 billion won as of April 26.

Kiwoom Securities\' RIA accounts surpass 20,000; Nvidia most deposited stock
Kiwoom Securities said on Wednesday its RIA accounts, designed for investors returning funds to the domestic market, have surpassed 20,000. Nvidia was the most deposited overseas stock, accounting for more than 20 percent of total deposited balances. Tesla, SOXL, Palantir Technologies and Alphabet followed. The account offers capital gains tax reductions if proceeds from overseas stock sales are reinvested long term in domestic assets.

Shinhan Investment customers sell Nvidia, buy SK hynix in RIA accounts
Shinhan Investment Corp said on Tuesday that an analysis of trades by customers who opened its RIA accounts, launched on March 23, showed a clear shift of funds. Customers took profits in overseas AI and big tech shares and moved money into South Korean large-cap blue chips and index-tracking ETFs. Nvidia had the highest share of overseas stock sales, while SK hynix and Samsung Electronics led domestic purchases.
