Alibaba targets South America AI market with Brazil data centres launch
Alibaba Group has opened two data centres in Brazil, marking its first entry into the South American market, and will offer secure cloud infrastructure and agentic AI services to local companies. Alibaba said Brazilian businesses, startups, developers and public agencies can access its cloud services directly on local infrastructure designed for low latency, resilience and data governance. The company is also expanding partnerships with local technology firms.
