World says Proof of Human can verify whether AI agents act on behalf of real people
World, an ID project co-founded by Sam Altman, introduced a way to use Proof of Human to verify whether AI agents are acting on behalf of real people. Users can delegate World ID proof to an agent, allowing websites and services to confirm requests without receiving personal data. The company said limits such as request counts and purchase quantities can be set per user even when multiple agents are used.
