Nexon Games speeds up new release schedule, steps up second-half lineup
Nexon Games is stepping up its new game push in the second half, unveiling a lineup that includes Sudden Attack: Zero Point, Project RX and DNF Raising. Sudden Attack: Zero Point enters global early access on Steam on July 30, excluding South Korea. Project RX debuted an offline experience space at Anime Expo 2026 in Los Angeles and plans to attend Tokyo Game Show 2026 in September. DNF Raising is in development for a domestic launch within the year.

Nexon says no layoffs, 2027 target adjustment is a timeline issue
Nexon on Monday rejected the possibility of workforce cuts during a capital markets briefing in Tokyo and detailed its stance on 2027 targets and cost structure improvements. Chairman Patrick Soderlund said there are no plans for layoffs. CFO Shiro Uemura said the company aims to redeploy staff through pipeline adjustments rather than restructuring. CEO Jung-heon Lee said it wants to maintain project-based incentive pay while applying sharper standards to overall labor costs.
