Amazon opens logistics infrastructure to outside companies, launches Amazon Supply Chain Services
Amazon launched Amazon Supply Chain Services, selling logistics infrastructure it has built over decades to outside companies, it said on Sunday. The company is opening its logistics network not only to sellers on Amazon but also to companies across industries including healthcare, automotive, manufacturing and retail. The service offers end-to-end logistics through a single network, spanning ocean, air, road and rail freight, warehousing and delivery, and parcel delivery.
