Hanwha Group opens Pompidou Center Hanwha in Seoul
Hanwha Group opened Pompidou Center Hanwha in Seoul, the world’s third Pompidou museum after Spain’s Malaga and Shanghai West Bund in China. Hanwha Culture Foundation held an opening ceremony on May 19 at the 63 Building annex in Yeouido, Seoul. Attendees included Hanwha executives and cultural figures as well as France’s ambassador to South Korea and the head of the Pompidou Center. The museum opens to the public on June 4.

Corporate art museums in South Korea are shifting from social contribution spending to revenue platforms as companies recast them as ESG assets. Hanwha will open Pompidou Center Hanwha at Seoul\'s 63 Building in June, setting ticket and membership prices and positioning it as a multi-purpose cultural space. Earlier, Samsung, Lotte and POSCO tied museums to branding and ESG, with examples including the Lee Kun-hee Collection donation and formal ESG metrics for museum operations.

Pompidou Center Hanwha starts ticket sales ahead of June opening
Pompidou Center Hanwha has launched its official website and begun selling tickets ahead of its opening on June 4 at the 63 Building in Seoul\'s Yeouido. Its opening exhibition, \"Cubists: Innovators of Vision,\" will run from June 4 to Oct. 4. Timed advance reservations are available from Thursday, with on-site purchases offered after opening. The venue also started recruiting membership subscribers with annual fees of 100,000 to 300,000 won.
