PayPal expands PYUSD stablecoin service to 70 countries

PayPal is expanding the countries where customers can hold its stablecoin, PYUSD, in their PayPal wallets. From March, customers in 68 additional countries will be able to hold PYUSD, following the United States and Britain, Fortune reported on Tuesday. The newly covered markets include countries in South America, Africa and Asia such as Uganda, Colombia and Peru. Overseas users can also earn rewards; U.S. users receive 4 percent annually.
