Bitso expands cooperation with Ripple, launches peso-pegged stablecoin MXNB on XRP Ledger

Bitso will issue the Mexican peso-pegged stablecoin MXNB on the XRP Ledger and use it with Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin for corporate cross-border settlement between the United States and Mexico. The move extends the companies’ payments cooperation in Latin America onto an XRP Ledger-based framework. MXNB will link to Ripple DEX-based payments infrastructure and integrate with a permissioned XRP Ledger DEX accessible only to verified participants.

BitGo launches modular digital asset infrastructure for banks

Digital asset infrastructure company BitGo has launched a modular digital asset infrastructure platform for banks. The platform integrates custody, trading, payments, staking and stablecoin infrastructure for banks and financial institutions reviewing cryptocurrency products and on-chain payments. Banks can adopt only the services they need, and institutions can roll out products in stages based on operating conditions and regulatory requirements. Several banks are already using the platform.

Netflix to expand ad placements, introduce vertical ad format in 2027

Netflix will significantly expand where ads appear in its service from 2027, including adding advertising to its smartphone app’s vertical video feed and to podcasts. Ads currently appear mainly during playback of standard horizontal content on its ad-supported Standard plan. Netflix said the plan has more than 250 million monthly active viewers and that 80 percent of members use Netflix at least once a week. It also plans to roll out the ad-supported plan to 15 more countries from 2027.
