Toss CISO Ji Jeong-ho wins People’s Merit Medal for information security
Viva Republica, operator of Toss, said on Tuesday that its Chief Information Security Officer Ji Jeong-ho received the People’s Merit Medal at a 2025 government awards ceremony for information security contributors hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT. The company said he was recognised for raising security standards in the fintech industry by upgrading the information security system and embedding it in company culture. Toss security investment expanded more than 15-fold from eight years ago, it said.
