Krafton joins 3 trillion won revenue club, sets sights on PUBG 2.0 and AI
Krafton posted its highest-ever annual revenue, topping 3 trillion won, driven by record growth in its PUBG: Battlegrounds IP and the market settling of new titles. Revenue rose 22.8% year on year while operating profit fell 10.8% due to hiring and one-off costs. The company plans to speed a shift to a PUBG 2.0 platform, improve production efficiency using AI and pursue a three-stage M&A strategy. Krafton posts 2025 operating profit of 1.05 trillion won, down 10.8 percent
Krafton set a record annual revenue in 2025 but posted lower operating profit as one-off costs were booked. The company reported revenue of 3.33 trillion won, up 22.8 percent, and operating profit of 1.05 trillion won, down 10.8 percent. PC and mobile segments led sales, while fourth-quarter operating profit was 2.4 billion won. Krafton outlined plans to expand franchise IP, launch new games and pursue AI-based initiatives.

Krafton to release 12 new titles within two years, including Palworld Mobile
Krafton on Jan. 15 presented its 2026 management strategy and longer-term growth direction through an internal programme. The company will continue its big franchise IP strategy, focusing on expanding in-house production investment, growing publishing volume and improving resource allocation efficiency. Krafton is running 26 game projects and targets launching 12 titles within two years, while also scaling up existing IP and expanding the PUBG franchise into a content platform. It is also exploring game-based AI initiatives.
