Hanwha Solutions Q1 operating profit up 205 percent to 92.6 billion won

Hanwha Solutions said first-quarter operating profit rose 205.5 percent from a year earlier to 92.6 billion won, while revenue increased 25.5 percent to 3.88 trillion won on a consolidated basis. It marked a return to operating profit for the first time in three quarters since the second quarter of 2025. The company said U.S. solar customs delays eased, plant operations normalised and profitability improved across renewable energy, chemicals and advanced materials.

Kakao Entertainment releases exclusive Samsung Lions 2026 kids membership kit

Kakao Entertainment\'s global K-culture fan platform Berriz will launch and exclusively sell the Samsung Lions\' 2026 kids membership kit using Kakao Friends intellectual property, it said on Thursday. The kit features a design combining the Lions\' mascot Laon and Kakao Friends character Little Ryan. It includes five items: a uniform, baseball cap, PVC clear backpack, raincoat and kids passport. Pre-orders start on Feb. 24 via the Berriz Lions Team Store online mall.
