Bitcoin Ordinals explorer Ord.io to shut down on June 1
Bitcoin Ordinals explorer Ord.io and its linked consumer app Zap will end services on June 1. Ord.io operators cited a lack of funding as the reason. Founder Leonidas King said on X that funding had run out and he could not find a way forward. Ord.io started in 2023 as a Bitcoin inscription explorer and later added community features such as recommendations. Operators plan to upload certain histories to GitHub.
