TmaxSoft completes Sompo Japan mainframe rehosting with OpenFrame, migrates to Azure
TmaxSoft said on Oct. 13 its Japan unit completed a mainframe rehosting project for Japanese non-life insurer Sompo Japan using its OpenFrame mainframe modernisation solution. The company said it carried out the project with OpenFrame7, rehosting systems that had been running on an existing mainframe and migrating them to a Microsoft Azure cloud environment. TmaxSoft said the result reflects its strengthened presence in Japan’s digital transformation market.
