Silicon Valley sees Claude Code boom, even Google engineers use it
Anthropic’s AI coding tool Claude Code is spreading quickly in Silicon Valley, following an upgrade to the Claude Opus 4.5 model that boosted reliability and functionality, The Information reported. The tool is used for tasks including code generation, data migration, bug fixes and prototype creation, by engineers and some non-developers. The report said even Google engineers use it. Claude Code has exceeded $1 billion in annualised revenue.
