Com2uS Platform holds Hive Tech Summit 2026, unveils Hive Axyl AI backend
Com2uS Platform unveiled Hive Axyl, a new platform that uses AI to support backend setup and feature integration in the game development process. The company said the service will launch on Sept. 30. It also said it held its first offline technology seminar, Hive Tech Summit 2026, in Seoul on Sept. 10. The event shared technology cases for game development and operations, including automation, security, remote play and data analysis.

OpenAI holds first Game Builders Seoul in South Korea
OpenAI has held its first event in South Korea to explore AI-based game development with local developers. The company said it hosted “OpenAI Game Builders Seoul” on Aug. 31 in Seoul. Attendees included Oliver Jay of OpenAI International, former XL Games chief executive Song Jae-kyung (송재경) and Com2uS Chairman Song Byung-joon (송병준). Speakers discussed applying AI code-generation tools, changes in game production and services, and plans for mentoring and hackathon programs.

OpenAI to hold Codex game development hackathon in Seoul
OpenAI said on Monday it will hold a game development hackathon, OpenAI Game Builders Seoul, in Seoul on Aug. 31 using its coding agent Codex. The company said the event will be held for the first time worldwide and will include participation by first-generation game developers such as Song Jae-kyung. Backed by Com2uS, participants will build games with Codex and link them to Com2uS’ Hive backend platform. Forty teams will be invited.
