Shinhan Financial Chairman Jin Ok-dong volunteers in Seoul Station shantytown
Shinhan Financial Group Chairman Jin Ok-dong (진옥동) took part in volunteer work to help residents of the Seoul Station shantytown stay healthy through the summer. Shinhan Financial said it carried out the activity on June 30 at the Seoul Station Shantytown Counseling Center in Yongsan, Seoul, with Jin and group affiliate CEOs. It donated a refrigerator to the center’s “Ongi Warehouse” sharing space and sponsored summer daily necessities for 811 residents.
