E-Mart opens first Starfield Market in Seoul
E-Mart said it will reopen its Wolgae store in Seoul\'s Nowon district on Aug. 27 as Starfield Market Wolgae, the fifth Starfield Market and the first in Seoul. The retailer said the renewed complex combines E-Mart, Traders and various tenants, with a sales area of 6,590 pyeong. It has expanded rest and cultural spaces and reshuffled food and retail brands. E-Mart said sales at four Starfield Market stores rose 28 percent year on year in the first half of this year.

Shinhan Bank\'s Ttaenggyeoyo completes public delivery app deals with all Seoul districts
Shinhan Bank said on Monday it signed a public delivery app agreement with Nowon-gu, completing agreements with all 25 districts in Seoul. The bank has expanded cooperation with districts since January 2022, starting with Gwangjin-gu, and said the latest deal lays the groundwork for a citywide public delivery system. Ttaenggyeoyo is issuing district-only vouchers with Seoul from Feb. 3, offering purchase discounts, customer coupons and payback benefits, and up to 300,000 won in support funds for merchants.

JobKorea runs job support programme with Youth Employment Academy
JobKorea, an AI and data-based HR tech platform, said on Tuesday it will operate a job-linkage support programme with the Seoul Business Agency to foster talent with digital convergence skills. The project runs through December and aims to connect about 2,000 people seeking industry roles in software, digital transformation, e-commerce, content and entertainment to training and jobs. It includes on-site job coordinators, an online matching portal and company-linked recruitment programmes.
