Shinhan Bank said on Monday it signed a public delivery app business agreement with Nowon-gu, completing public delivery app agreements with all 25 districts in Seoul. Shinhan Bank has expanded cooperation with each district in Seoul since January 2022, starting with Gwangjin-gu, and said the latest agreement lays the groundwork for a public delivery system covering the entire city.
Based on the public delivery app agreements, Ttaenggyeoyo has been issuing district-specific vouchers that can be used only on Ttaenggyeoyo, together with the Seoul city government, since Feb. 3. The vouchers can be bought at a 15 percent discount.
Ttaenggyeoyo has also strengthened customer benefits linked to the vouchers. Shinhan Bank is offering a 2,000 won discount coupon to customers who place orders of 25,000 won or more using the vouchers, and Seoul is providing a payback of 5 percent of the order amount in Ttaenggyeoyo-only vouchers when payment is made with the vouchers and either district love gift certificates or Seoul love gift certificates, raising convenience and benefits at the same time.
It is also offering up to 300,000 won in support funds, which can be used for coupons and other purposes when joining Ttaenggyeoyo, to merchants located in Seoul's 25 districts, including Nowon-gu, to ease the burden of initial marketing costs.
A Shinhan Bank official said, "Based on cooperation with Seoul and all districts, we will further strengthen our role as a public delivery platform," and added, "We will continue to expand support to revitalise small businesses and the local economy from the perspective of inclusive finance."
